omg!!

so they found my car
this morning
3:20am
called me, I hit “ignore” (wasn’t thinking), the dispatcher called back.
this time I answered, and totally freaked out
THEY HAD FOUND MY CAR
and she said “it’s driveable” !!!!
so I was all excited. they found it down the street (maybe half a mile) so I put some clothes on and ran down the street until I ran out of breath
when I got to the car, everything looked fine on the outside. none of the lights seemed to turn on (open door lights, open hatch light, headlights), so I popped the hood
BATTERY is gone
bleeeeh
so I called jason and then the house and we towed it back to the house. sitting outside now, waiting for a battery.
there -was- missing stuff
my tools (punchdown, crimper, cable tester, screw drivers and bits, ratchet, etc…all gone, along with a floppy drive and some other stuff)
they also took my GYM BAG??!!?
not sure why they’d take that…
maybe they needed my stinky shoes :D the sweats were clean, and there were about five million (or more) little peppermints in it. some batteries maybe, and some locks, and a key to the lock.
they also stole my broken mp3 player, the scientific calculator from high school (covered in gel pen stuff cause they were really really popular and new then and I drew all over the buttons with them), my coach glasses case with my old not-coach glasses in it…
the furry-collar jacket angie got me for my birthday last year
can’t think of anything else, but they -did- leave the radio. buahahahhaha. :P
very very tired right now…
been up since 3:20a, waaay asleep
thought I’d update everybody in case you were worried

    I’m sorry for all the stolen items inside, but at least you got your car back. All you need is a new battery and you should be good to go. I hope though that you’ll be able to replace some of your missing items. :fox hugs:

    Gym Bags usually have Ipods in them.

    The text message at 4:45 am woke me up when the phone kept beeping. *grumble* It took a while to get back to sleep.

    I guess I did give you permission to call -anytime- so I can’t complain too loudly. The msgs the day before (about it being stolen) seemed more “middle-of-the-night” worthy.

    I’m over it now. Glad you got it back so quickly. I never heard anything about the white car, and it’s been gone for over 4 months now.

    Man, that was lucky. o.o I knew a girl whose car was stolen out of the Canada’s Wonderland parking lot.. they found it next day in pieces coming out of a chop shop. That’s how fast the ruffians took it apart.
