Jaiden is now equipping 12 and 18m clothing. it’s adding to his stamina, I think. +2 or +3, for 12 and 18. very nice. he got a new hat that has +5 int. it’s got a skull on it, and red stitching.
got our tax returns, so now we’re paying bills! for the car repairs, we owe 800 something >.< BLAH
credit cards amassed prior to my arrival (equal to 1000s of dollars) are getting paid off, FINALLY.
and the car insurance, the stupid comcast that's been behind ever since I was in the hospital giving birth when the bill was due, blah!
the gov gave us (GAVE us!) 1000 dollars for having a kid. how awesome is that? naturally it's his money, so we'll spend it on much-needed clothes (3/4s of his clothes were given away due to size difficulties), and some toys. the rest is for his college fund.
and of course the hubby is spending -his- portion on movies. since my main concern is not getting services cancelled, I'm fine with foregoing a spending spree 
I do need a wallet, though, and hey! that segues into the next part!

Angie's mother passed away a few months ago, shortly after christmas. She was in her 90s, so she'd had a good long life. She was blind, but she got to hold Jaiden at some point, so he did meet his other great-gramma.

on the weight thing:
I'm still about 139 pounds, and my goal is 115-119 (Somewhere in there). I've got about 20 pounds to drop.
If anybody wants to work out with me, I have a 24-hour fitness thingy, and love that weird elliptical that goes up and down but doesn't have the stupid moving handlebars that whack me in the head. I also like the weight lifting stuffs

I saw a car the other day with plates that read "Epic Mnt" (or something). It was hilarious. I sat in slow-moving traffic laughing.

the february holiday passed pretty well, with a minimal of tears. the days preceding and following it were harder for me. I have yet to visit Dad. He's in half-moon bay, overlooking a statue of the virgin mary. Apparently they put people -in- walls these days, and since he's a pile of ashes, it seemed like a good idea. his sister bought the spaces next to him for herself and her son. I always find it completely morbid that they try to sell you all manner of things for when you go, when someone in your family goes.
I remembered two things recently:
lorijay2000: I remember getting daveey the ducky that looked like a platypus. wasn't it christmas? and and it was from an animal petting machine, and we were at that really big theater with lots of people in it
the other has to do with the stupid james bond box-sets that came out christmas-time 2004 I think. I saw them (Back then) and immediately wanted to get them for my dad, was even already mentally buying them.
I was listening to a song from one of the bond movies when I remembered this, and all those stupid feelings welled up and it was hard to choke back tears.
Jason wants to get the newer updated versions for -his- dad, and every time he brings it up or tries to show them to me I run away. I didn't know why, until I remembered what happened with the other box-sets.
Today I'm slacking off, just poking my computer and playing some games I forgot I had. Rogue's level 39 now, and I have a lvl 25 healer. the draenei are awesome.
I should eat, soon. haven't yet and I woke up at 9.
mojo burger is pretty good, btw — the one we went to is on the way to the pruneyard.
cheese is good (still), ketchup goes on everything, and whoever invented chocolate whipped cream in a can is a god (I haven't actually had it in years, but it's really really good. tastes like hot chocolate from denny's, my favorite)
