okay, so that’s not really what this post is about. It’s in the forefront of my mind, because I’m sitting here typing this with the background music of my cpu fan -dying-
I went to fry’s to get a new cpu fan, and unsure of which of the fans I’d picked out would fit on the motherboard, I ask a fry’s employee if he’s familiar with the abit motherboards.
he gives me that look that says “what’s abit” (or maybe “What’s motherboard”) and I point at the stacks of motherboards, and say “it’s the nf7, which you guys don’t have anymore. you have the nf8. does it have the same type of mounter for a mounting bracket?”
he points at the nf8 they have on display, and says “that’s the nf8″
so I hold out the selections I’ve made, which -look- short enough to fit behind my power-supply. He has me get one, which I later realize is for a pentium 4. I suppose it’s too much to ask that a components salesperson know the difference between an amd cpu fan and a pentium cpu fan. It’s partially my fault, though if I’d worked there, I would’ve told the person “oh that’s for amd”, cause -I would have known-
course most people feel they aren’t getting paid enough money to do their job so *shrug*
to be honest though, the poor guy probably really desperately wanted to go take a smoke break. he was shaking and stuff.
now I feel all gross and yucky, with a pentium cpu fan in the house. I’m also really annoyed that my cpu fan is making SO MUCH NOISE.
got arctic silver, so it should hopefully keep the cpu safe. I hope. cross my fingers. just sounds like the ball bearings need lubrication, really. anyway! that’s why I’ve been not-online-this-week. didn’t want to break the computer

We’ve also decided on his name
his nick-name will be Lil Tiger (one of the uncles nicknames is Tiger, and his middle name is Anthony)
so his full name is Jaiden Anthony Guist Figueroa
it’s some kinda family tradition to put the mother’s maiden name in there somewhere, so, there it is. Guist is an awesome name
His godparents will apparently be his middle-name-sake (Tiger) and Tiger (Big Tiger)’s niece Gina.
