been thinkin again ;)

I’ve latched onto a revolutionary idea!
donno where it came from, but while I was working today I remember thinking “there’s too much day left”
(was remembering something TJ had told me this morning as he was leaving) and yea. something in my
head said “nope, there’s not enough!”
so yea. =^.^=
it’s a sorta double-negative thing, making a non-positive situation better by making it a double-negative.
or something.
at the very least, it makes a fun game of your life (for however long you aren’t bored with it)
the rules are:
you gotta switch a negative statement around so that it turns positive.
for instance:
“there’s too much day left” = one negative, one positive. still negative.
“there’s not enough day left” = two negatives. changed to positive.
“I still have too much road to travel”
to
“I don’t have enough road to travel”
jus flip the still-negative thought around so that it’s positive!
the other fun part of the game is the -because- part.
“there’s not enough day left, because I have so much to do!” (that makes you unbored)
“I don’t have enough road to travel because life’s too short”
I guess it’s jus thinking from someone else’s point of view or something.
it really does help.
while you’re busy thinking up reasons, the time goes away, and the nice thing about it is
you don’t have to have a reason right away, and you can have as -many- reasons as you want.
so even if you find one, there’s still room for more. the other nice thing is you can think up reasons
while you’re doing important things like telling someone the difference between two different
pieces of software, or something. oddly enough it changes the way you say things to people
cause you’re in -that- mode, and not the negative-positive mode. (negative negative gooood!!)
yeaa! mweehehehe. =^.^=
