I guess I haven’t really posted much lately.
been very busy.
shortly after the funeral, (like days) I had an interview with Carrie over at Wireless World (in Menlo Park)
congrats to me, I’m now the latest employee for Menlo Park’s wireless world. I now sell cell-phones. woohoo.
somewhat ironic that prior to working there I knew how to call someone with a cell, but that was bout the
extent of my knowledge. I also had no prior sales experience aside from standing behind a counter and taking
people’s orders.
I don’t think I’m doing too bad for a three-week-old employee. I’ve already sold $712 of merchandise (more, cept that’s the profit, excluding what the product cost.) so that means my first commission check will be near 100 bucks. woohoo
I get paid on the 20th, the 5th and the 10th. the 10th’s a commission check so yea.
And! I’ve not been neglecting my drawing! there’re these neato lil post-it notes that I’m sposed to write phone
messages on in neat colors like yellow and green and pink. wonderful with my gel-pens.
I do like working, makes me feel very useful. however, I’m not accepted at work for who I really am =-.0=
I’ve gotta wear weird clothes (with belts matching the shoes, wtf? I have to wear a belt?) and like, no jeans or tshirts and definetly not my favorite pair of shoes. I’m also forbidden to meow. my one cow-orker hates cats, so she
threatens me with an invisible tazer every time I accidentally meow (usually after coming back to work after having my days off, and I have once again gotten used to bein a kitty)

I think it'd be courteous of me to get another fridge to replace it, but apparently my boss doesn't care since the fridge was my sister's and yea. =0.-=
*shrug*
at some point I might replace it. it doesn't seem to be in very great demand though.
anyway
I like peanutbutter-and-jelly better than cheese-and-turkey sandwhiches.
my ears are hurting now cause of headphones. I'm gonna go see what's goin on in the front room.
(woohoo! we got a new roomate, he's from france, and he's apparently a really good cook. he's gonna make crepes for us sometime next week. I'm lookin forward, whatever crepes are they sound yummy )
